Tidak lama kemudian, langit yang cerah berubah menjadi gelap. Angin bertiup kencang, petir menyambar, dan hujan mula turun dengan lebatnya. Air melimpah dari langit dan memancar dari bumi. Inilah banjir besar yang menenggelamkan seluruh lembah dan gunung.

Nabi Nuh segera membawa pengikutnya dan pasangan setiap haiwan naik ke atas bahtera. Hujan turun selama berhari-hari sehingga dunia digenangi air.

Dari sudut sains, peristiwa hujan lebat dan banjir besar seperti ini boleh berlaku akibat perubahan iklim mendadak, letusan gunung berapi, atau pergerakan kerak bumi yang menyebabkan air laut naik. Namun, banjir pada zaman Nabi Nuh berlaku atas kehendak dan kuasa Allah, sebagai tanda kekuasaan-Nya ke atas alam.

Apabila hujan berhenti, bahtera Nabi Nuh terapung dan berlabuh di atas Gunung Judi. Semua yang beriman diselamatkan. Nabi Nuh bersyukur kepada Allah kerana memberi perlindungan kepada mereka.

Namun, apabila Nabi Ibrahim dilemparkan ke dalam api, api itu menjadi sejuk dan menyenangkan. Allah berfirman,
"Wahai api, jadilah engkau dingin dan selamat untuk Ibrahim!"
Api yang sepatutnya membakar, tidak sedikit pun menyakitkan baginda. Itulah mukjizat Allah yang tiada tandingan.

Dari sudut sains moden, api menghasilkan haba kerana proses pembakaran yang melibatkan oksigen. Setiap benda yang terbakar menukarkan tenaga kimia menjadi tenaga haba. Tetapi dalam kisah ini, Allah telah mengubah sifat api itu sendiri — sesuatu yang tidak dapat dijelaskan oleh hukum fizik biasa.

Humiliated and furious, the people decided to punish him severely. They built an enormous fire, so hot that even birds flying above it were burned. Then they threw Prophet Ibrahim into the blazing flames.

But Allah commanded the fire:
"O fire, be coolness and safety for Ibrahim!"
Miraculously, the fire did not burn him. Instead, it became cool and gentle. Prophet Ibrahim stood unharmed — a true miracle showing Allah’s power.

From a scientific view, fire produces heat through combustion, a process that requires oxygen and fuel. Normally, anything that enters fire will burn. But in this miracle, Allah changed the nature of fire itself, something beyond human understanding.

Dari sudut sains moden, bintang ialah gumpalan gas panas yang terbentuk daripada hidrogen dan helium. Ia menghasilkan cahaya dan haba melalui tindak balas tenaga yang dipanggil fusi nuklear. Di hadapan mereka terbentang air biru yang dalam, dan di belakang pula datang tentera bersenjata. Kaum Nabi Musa mula berasa cemas. “Kita akan ditangkap!” kata mereka. Namun Nabi Musa dengan tenang menjawab, “Tidak, sesungguhnya Tuhanku bersamaku, Dia akan menunjukkan jalan.”

Lalu Allah memerintahkan Nabi Musa memukul laut dengan tongkatnya. Tiba-tiba, air laut itu terbelah dua, membentuk laluan kering yang selamat dilalui oleh mereka. Kaum Nabi Musa berjalan di antara dua dinding air yang tinggi, seolah-olah sedang melalui terowong air gergasi. Apabila Firaun cuba mengejar, air kembali menutup dan menenggelamkannya.

Mukjizat ini menunjukkan kuasa Allah yang mutlak. Dalam sains moden, ahli oseanografi mengkaji fenomena seperti pasang surut, gelombang, dan tenaga air, tetapi tiada penjelasan saintifik yang mampu menerangkan laut boleh terbelah sebegitu rupa. Ia berlaku semata-mata kerana perintah Allah.

30. The Tree That Moved to Greet the Prophet

One day, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was walking around Madinah with his companions. Suddenly, they saw a tree moving towards him, as if to greet him. The companions were astonished, but the Prophet smiled and said, “This is a miracle from Allah.”

The tree touched the place where he passed and then returned to its original spot. This event shows that all of Allah’s creation obeys His will, including trees and plants.

From a biological perspective, trees move slowly due to growth and reactions to light (phototropism). However, a tree moving quickly to greet the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is clearly a miracle beyond natural laws.
